FortGuard's Blog

1. Download the upgrade file (http://www.fortguard.com/upgradetov2.2.rar)  from our website and unzip.

2. Stop "FortGuard DDoS Firewall" service from system service manager. （Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services->FortGuard DDoS Firewall->"Stop the service"）

3. Close FortGuard user interface management program.

4. Copy upgraded file "fortguard.exe" and "fortguardservice.exe" to FortGuard installation directory and select "overwrite". (The default directory is "C:\Program Files\FortGuard\Firewall\")

5. Restart "FortGuard DDoS Firewall" service from system service manager. （Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services->FortGuard DDoS Firewall->"Restart the service"）.

6. Start FortGuard user interface management program. Upgrade completed!
